Hi, I'm currently in the process of writing my thesis proposal regarding jails. I'd like to ask for the 'Criteria' that the BJMP consider when finding locations/sites/land for their Jail facilities to be built. 1. A list of the 'Criteria' or Considerations the BJMP use to pick sites/lots for Jails. 2. A percentage on each criteria (total 100%), showing the priority of that specific consideration. Example Site near community - 20% Accessibility from roads - 20% Site big enough for future expansion - 20% Water/Sewage/Electrical Utilities is available - 30% Correct land zoning of Land - 10%

IF there is no Criteria available, please give percentages to the following items according to how BJMP view their importance in acquiring Sites. (Total 100%) Accessibility to roads Proximity to Resources (food market/supplies/etc) Location (noise, smell, view, within or far form city centers) Security of Location (unobstructed surveillance in surroundings/space for perimeter security) Land Area & Future Expansion Topography & Geography (soil type/presence of water bodies/site slope) Availability of Utilities (water/sewage/elec) Zoning (fault line/liquefaction/flooding/hazards) Zoning Ordinance Site ownership Accessibility to medical facilities Neighborhood Impact (effect of jail to neighboring land uses) Site Potential for Programs (eg. space for dancing/futile land for farming/water bodies for fishery/etc) Purchase Cost
