Project Objectives:
The following are the objectives of the project:
a.) To investigate the current situation of the existing city hall of Catbalogan of why the city is needing a new one or relocation and that therefore develop a well-designed city hall.
b.) To create a working place which increases or boost productivity and gives motivation to the employees to serve their fellow Catbaloganons by freeing them from external noise, by having offices with a vibrant medley of stimulating hues and good lighting that increases output and sparks creativity.
c.) To integrate satellite offices of the National Government Agencies (e.g SSS, Philhealth, BIR) in one-singled roof with the City Hall.
d.) To use the location of the site as a tool for generating income through application of the tourism industry by proposing a viewing deck building which will have different visual resources like the sunrise and mountain ranges in the eastside, the Maqueda Bay in the south, on the westside where the sun sets and where the city proper and coastline located, lastly there is a view of Antiao River and hills in the northside.
e.) To relocate the city hall and construct other government facilities to help the city in decongesting the city proper at the same time will cause or ignite the transformation of its vicinity into a good prospect for urbanization and a tool for urban growth redirection and expansion.
