To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to request a copy of my BIR 2316 from my previous employment at ACI, Inc, formerly known as Araneta Center Inc, for the period from April 2015 to July 2019. I resigned in April 2019, and I have not yet received my BIR 2316. I require this document as proof of employment for inclusion in my application to work abroad. It would be appreciated if I could receive copies for both 2015 and 2019, as they are part of my current requirements. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

October 17, 2023 Dear Anthony Nery, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 16, 2023 01:08:32 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for BIR 2316. Response to Request Based on the reason stated below, we resolve to deny your request as to the following information: Copy of your ITR for the year 2015-2019. Years 2015, 2017 and 2018 After careful consideration, we resolve to grant your request. Please see requested information emailed to you. Year 2016 We regret to inform you that your request cannot be processed because your employer failed to submit a CD of scanned copies of Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld (BIR Form 2316) for the year 2016. Year 2019 This Office does not have the information you have requested (ITR) since your employer failed to include your BIR Form 2316 in the CD submitted for the year 2019. For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph.
