Good day! I would like to ask for a cash assistance for the hospital bill of my cousin. His excess is amounting to 39,636 pesos...the patient has undergone two operations this month that is why we cannot anymore shoulder his billing expenses. Please help us.

January 22, 2021 Dear Mae Indoc, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 22, 2021 12:25:43 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Billing statement. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx and https://www.pcso.gov.ph/webapps/NCROnlineApplication.aspx for NCR online application. In addition, we wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
