Buying and reloading a beep card does not have an official receipt. How Beep pass the BIR accreditation?

May 26, 2020 Dear Robert Martinez, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 15, 2020 05:40:23 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Beep Payment - Tax Compliance to BIR. Response to Request Your FOI request is approved. In reply, BEEP devices are not Point-of-Sale (POS) machines, thus they do not or should not issue Official Receipts (OR). It is a ticketing system, registered with the BIR as a Special Purpose Machine (SPM), for your information and guidance. Thank you.
