Hello po!
Good morning Ma’am/Sir! May I gently ask po if part-time faculty do receive midyear bonus po?
From BC 2017-2, part timers are mentioned to receive. However, so far I haven’t receive po. I am a part time faculty in SUC.
Maybe, there are rules I am not aware pa po. May I gently request for conditions po why part time faculty are not receiving the mid year bonus po.

Dear Psalm Morata,
This refers to your inquiry as regards the rules on the grant of Mid-Year Bonus to part-time faculty personnel.
Under Items 2.0 and 3.0 of Budget Circular No. 2017-2, all civilian personnel, including those employed on part-time basis, may be entitled to Mid-Year Bonus equivalent to one (1) month basic pay as of May 15, provided that:
(i) Personnel has rendered at least an aggregate of 4 months of service from July 1 of the immediately preceding year to May 15 of the current year;
(ii) He/she remains to be in the government service as of May 15 of the current year; and
(iii) He/she obtained at least a satisfactory performance rating in the immediately preceding rating period, or the applicable performance appraisal period.
As we are not privy to the details of your engagement with the SUC, we suggest that you discuss your concerns directly with the responsible officials of the agency given the above general clarifications.
