Philippine Statistics Authority(PSA)

Hi! I would like to request for:
- barangay census boundaries from PSA

to be able to map the recently released 2015 Population Census for the whole country. Hopefully in a readable GIS format (i.e. .gdb, .shp, .kml)

You asked for Barangay Census Boundaries.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, however, we wish to inform you that the 
shapefiles that we possess are only for the internal use of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) such as census and survey purposes.  Being the authority for the production and dissemination 
of official statistics in the Philippines, we are very much willing to provide our products and 
services relating to statistics and civil registration to all data users; however, as statistical 
agency, we are not the authority and the official source of administrative boundaries in the 
Philippines.

Please be advised that the Land Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is responsible for administering, surveying, managing, and disposing Alienable and Disposable (A&D) lands and other government lands not placed under the jurisdiction of other government agencies. We hope that this clarifies the limitations of the PSA in providing shapefiles to other agencies.
