As of the moment, the BFAR-NIFTC has no data on the longevity life span of leiopotherapon plumbeus (Ayungin). Species life span depends on some factors like nutrition (poor), diseases, environmental conditions (Dissolved Oxygen, temperature etc.) that may affect their growth and health or any mis management if in case they are cultured in a controlled condition.
