Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Aug 24, 2021 10:51:35 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
You asked for AVAILMENT FOR BENEFITS FOR WORKING UNDER ECQ AND CORONA VIRUS.
RA 11494 otherwise "Bayanihan to Heal as One Act" and RA 11519 also known as "Bayanihan to Recover as One Act" both have provisions for Special Risk Allowance SRA to health care workers who are directly handling COVID 19 patients. This is true for both the private and public health workers.
It is unfortunate that these two laws do not provide the same to other essential workers other than those in the health care industry.
Benefits during this pandemic beyond the actual remunerations is based upon CBA or agreements between labor and their employers.
