he DSWD-managed RCFs have been abiding and guided by the codes, rules, and regulations of the following laws for the layout of facilities:


- The Philippine Green Building Code of June 2015 – A referral code of NBCP (PD

- Presidential Decree No. 1096, National Building Code of the Philippines with its revised IRR
- Batas Pambansa Bilang 344 (Accessibility Law)
- National Structural Code of the Philippines
- Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR) of Republic Act 9514 "The Fire Code of the Philippines"; and the
- DSWD Administrative Order No. 15 series of 2012 or the Standards on Residential
 - Care Service under Physical Structure and Safety accessible at:
