A certain DepEd DO posted vacancy of Teaching positions under Senior High School. One of the positions is Teacher III of a certain strand/track. A Teacher I of the same strand/track under the same Division passed documentary requirements to apply for the Teacher III position. However, she was denied as she was informed that it was not meant for promotion. 1. Why does the DepEd teaching personnel cannot be allowed to apply for the position if he/she is qualified and willing to undergo the standard application process? 2. Should they resign first so that they can apply?
