I would like to request historical daily discharge data in the dam & spillway, & daily sediment yield data of the Ambuklao and Binga dam.

I refer to your letter of Mar 02, 2022 12:43:38 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Annual Sedimentation Rate.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Please send an official letter of your request for the historical daily discharge and sediment yield data of the Ambuklao and Binga dams and indicate details such as inclusive years or time period of the requested data addressed to National Power Corporation Officer-In-Charge Usec. Donato D. Marcos. Also, please be informed that the NPC only provides 5-year data for free to the academe in exchange for a copy of your research/studies. If more than five years of data is required, the NPC imposes the following fees on data request:

Monthly Data Php3.00 per monthly data
In particular, it would be helpful to know if the data being requested is daily or monthly. With this, we ask on the particular data being requested in order for us to be able to facilitate the request.

Dear Ma'am/Sir,
The study requires average daily discharge and sediment yield data of Ambuklao and Binga Dams covering the years 2004-2020. Please be informed that I already sent a letter addressed to Undersecretary Marcos last September 8, 2021 thru Mr. Conrado G. Sison, Jr, Department Manager of the Dams Management Department.
In response, the NPC approved the conduct of the research study providing access to available data and information, in a letter dated 15 September 2021 signed by Mr. Rene Barruela, VP for Corporate Affairs.
I can provide you copies of the said documents thru email. Let me know your email po.

We were informed that the data you are requesting was already provided by our Dams Management Department and sent through your email by our Watershed Management Department las 02 June 2022. We will therefore mark this request as closed.
