I refer to my letter of Oct 31, 2018 07:03:42 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Annual Appropriation and Expenditure/Obligation per Province and Region from 2000 to Present.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. You mentioned that you need information regarding the provinces and regions. In particular, it would be helpful to know if what you meant by regions include all levels of LGUs including cities, municipalities and barangays or just the aggregate amount of the provinces. Good day!
Thank you for your response. Yes. Regions would include the sum of the appropriations of all levels of LGUs located per region. Provinces would include the sum of the appropriations for all LGUs located per province.
Also, I would like to withdraw my request for the obligation and balance of appropriation data. I will just request for the Total Appropriation data per Province and Region from 2000-Latest.

You asked for Annual Appropriation and Expenditure/Obligation per Province and Region from 2000 to Present.
Response to your request
We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from https://www.dbm.gov.ph/ then click Budget Documents > year > Budget of Expenditures and Sources of Financing > F. Local Government Units > Summary of Receipts and Expenditures (Regional/Province) 2nd year. The 2nd year connotes the approved appropriations year and look into the total expenditures column. Also, note that the regional appropriations only covers the provinces, cities and municipalities and does not cover the barangays. The barangays have their own appropriations and is not required to submit to the DBM their data since they only have to report their proposed budget with their respective municipalities and cities for review and approval.
