I refer to my letter of Mar 17, 2022 03:46:44 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Amount of Forest cover in Bohol for the years 2015-2021.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. the forest cover data that we can provide you is based on the analysis of the data coming from the National Mapping and Resources Authority (NAMRIA) which is provided every 5 years. However, our Office is still waiting for the official forest cover data for 2020 from NAMRIA. Thus, the latest data that we can provide is as of 2015. Please let us know if this will be acceptable. Good day Sir/Ma'am,
Yes, the 2015 data will be beneficial to our research. However, may I inquire as to when the most recent data would be available at your office? It would be far better if you could help us provide the most up-to-date information for our paper. Also, may I request information regarding degraded forests in Bohol? Because our research is focused on the tarsier's endangerment as a result of the state of its habitat in Bohol, we need to gather information on the state of the forests in the province. Can you offer any useful data on our issue if there are no such data?
To make it clear, the 2015 data is needed.

Please be informed that our Office can only provide the official data that we have which is the forest cover for 2015. As the forest cover is generated every 5 years by the NAMRIA, our office have not yet receved data for 2020 forest cover.
