Hi! Requesting for clarification as to what should be the Amount Basis for PHIC remittance of Employer/Employee on the following independent cases:
For an Employee with P30,000 Gross Basic Monthly Salary in 2024 :
1. Newly-hired at near-end of the month, earning only P1,000.
2. Separated Employee at early beginning of the month, with earnings of only P1,000.
3. Promoted Employee to P40,000 new rate. (But P10,000 increase is not earned in whole, but only P300, bec.he was promoted only effective that last day of the month) So earnings for P30k + P300 promotion differential salary.
Thank you.

Hi, thank you. But reason for my request of clarification by citing examples, is that is causing confusion to a particular employer regarding the exact Amount Basis for remittance, when it comes to cases where employee has not earned in full, for a certain period, his Whole Monthly Salary.
My employer insists that the Monthly Basic Salary should still be based on the Whole Month, despite cases where it is only partially earned. (Sample in 3 cases cited.)
Thank you, and what will be my recourse for the over remittances already paid to PHIC?
