Hi good afternoon, may I ask lang po kung pwede po ba iisang tao lang yung compliance officer namin for different business po for example po may compliance officer na po kami sa Treasures jewel shop , pwede pa rin ba sya pa rin yung iregister as compliance officer sa Gem Stone jewel shop po namin? May 9, 2023 Bb. Garcia, Ito ay patungkol sa iyong tanong sa Freedom of Information (FOI) Portal na iyong ipinadala noong 20 Abril 2023 ayon sa Executive Order (EO) No. 2 (S. 2016). Maaring iisang tao ang maging compliance officer ng Treasures Jewel Shop at Gem Stone Jewel Shop. Ang mahalaga ay ang compliance officer na mapipili ay dapat rin magpakita ng kaalaman and kakayanan na ipatupad ang pagsunod sa Republic Act No. 9160, o mas kilala bilang Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended (AMLA), lalo na ang kakayanan niyang mangasiwa sa dalawang accounts na i-rerehistro sa AMLC Portal. Bukod dito, inaasahan din na ang mapipiling compliance officer ay kayang subaybayan ang mga bagong updates sa AMLA at magbigay ng mga kaukulang report sa mga suspicious at covered transactions.
