We refer to your letter of Sep 25, 2023 06:33:50 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for AMLC Certificate for Real State Developer (BoXin Real State Corp.).
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. In particular, it would be helpful to know the following:
1. What is the purpose for the AMLC Certificate of Registration (e.g. for opening of account, transacting funds, application for registration with BSP, etc.)?
2. Are you transacting for personal reasons or on behalf of the business?
3. If on behalf of the business, please describe the nature of your business. Also, are you the owner of this business? If no, what is your position/designation in the business, if applicable.
4. If on behalf of the business, may we also request your Articles of Incorporation (AOI) indicating the primary and secondary purpose, if applicable.

-this is for opening of bank account..

-Yes,on behalf of the business and i am one of the board of directors.
3. If on behalf of the business, please describe the nature of your business. Also, are you the owner of this business? If no, what is your position/designation in the business, if applicable.
-this company is a real state company and i am the corporate treasurer.
4. If on behalf of the business, may we also request your Articles of Incorporation (AOI) indicating the primary and secondary purpose, if applicable.

Thank you for your request dated 25 September 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (S. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
The bank is requesting from its clients/potential clients a copy of the Certificate of Registration (COR) issued by the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC). This is required as part of the bank’s customer due diligence because real estate developers and brokers are covered persons under Republic Act No. 9160, otherwise known as the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended.
The requirements and procedure for the issuance of the COR to real estate developers and brokers are laid down in pages 9-12 of the AMLC Citizen’s Charter (Updated as of March 2023) accessible through this link: http://www.amlc.gov.ph/images/PDFs/PR2023/CART2023.pdf.
