1. What is the purpose for the AMLC Certificate of Registration (e.g. for opening of account, transacting funds, application for registration with BSP, etc.)?
2. Are you transacting for personal reasons or on behalf of the business?
3. If on behalf of the business, are you the owner of this business? If no, what is your position/designation in the business, if applicable.
4. May we also request your Articles of Incorporation (AOI) indicating the primary and secondary purpose, if applicable.

Thank you for your request dated 13 November 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Should the bank request you to register with the AMLC, the Certificate of Registration (PCOR) is obtained as part of the bank's customer due diligence requirements for covered persons under Republic Act No. 9160, otherwise known as the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001, as amended. Prior to the issuance of the COR, the PCOR is issued to those applicants that have a successful registration with the AMLC Online Registration System.
The requirements and procedure for the issuance of the PCOR and COR are laid down in pages 9-14 of the AMLC Citizen's Charter (Updated as of March 2023) accessible through this link: http://www.amlc.gov.ph/images/PDFs/PR2023/CART2023.pdf.
