Hi, i just want to ask why is it and what is the difference of the effectivity date of new quarantine protocol for fully vaccinated and are only applicable for those who arrived on 08 oct and onwards from those a week ahead like arrives from October 1 from the day Malacañang had announce.

October 10, 2021 Dear Mr. Darius Calimag, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 09, 2021 02:37:46 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch information on the IATF quarantine protocol. Mr. Calimag for information on the quarantine Protocol, all returning OFWs are briefed upon arrival at the international airports by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) of the Department of Health. In your quarantine hotel there are BOQ personnel who can respond to your queries about mandated days of hotel quarantine. The role of OWWA in the repatriation of OFWs is to facilitate their accommodation and transportation to the quarantine hotel and then transport them to the designated terminals for travel to your destination upon the clearance of the BOQ. They qualified OFWs are assisted in the online application of DOLE-AKAP. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.
