Dear Valerie Lim,
I refer to my letter of Oct 18, 2021 12:24:20 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Airport Statistics.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query.
Kindly clarify the data you are requesting. What details do you need on aircraft, passenger, cargo (categories, classification, numbers, volumes, incoming or outgoing?).
May we know exactly what will the end result of your study please. Please be reminded that there also other airports which you will need to consider and obtain data from.
As to the form (Microsoft Excel), we cannot assure you that our data are presented in the said form. Your request is for 10 years data. As a government instrumentality, data and documents in MIAA have a retention period of 5 years only.

Hi Atty. Leonides,
We will need the Aircraft, Passenger and Cargo movements of the airports under MIAA. No need for the quarterly/monthly totals, just grand totals by airport. It is also alright if we only receive the 5-year period worth of data even if not in microsoft excel form, as long as it is available.
As for the study, we have already collected data from CAAP and the other airpot authorities. Our research is about the airport infrastructure in the Philippines, and the data being requested will be used in our supply and demand section specifically.
