February 15, 2021 Dear Charlene Mae, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Feb 15, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Administrative Order No. 1 (1941) OP-issued. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from http://www.immigration.gov.ph/information/memorandum-issuance. However, Administrative Order No. 1 (1941) could be produced but all laws relating to immigration process can be found in the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940, as amended by C.A. 613. The Philippine Immigration Act is a 1940 law establishing a Bureau of Immigration of the Philippines and establishing the visa policy of the Philippines. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the BI Commissioner, JAIME H. MORENTE, Bureau of Immigration, Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila.
