I refer to your letter dated Jan 31, 2017 11:36:35 AM; about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for copies of Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella's latest Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN), CV, and Personal Data Sheet.
Our response to your request is due on Feb 21, 2017. Unfortunately, it is taking longer than expected to deal with your request because we sought clarification from the National Privacy Commission on whether information contained in the Personal Data Sheet is covered by the prohibition for public disclosure by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
We apologize for this delay but have applied for an extension so we could work further on your request. We hope to be able to send you a response within twenty (20) working days or before Mar 21, 2017.
