Hi, I would like to request information regarding the 911 hotline that is to be set up nationally for our thesis study regarding emergency communication for the city of Baguio. The following are the main information I would like to request: 1. Current communications structure and protocol for 117/911. 2. Proposed communication framework to be adopted for the National 911. 3. Proposed protocols to be adopted and used by the personnel involved in 911 and responder agencies. Thank you.

July 3, 2018 Dear Andrei Rillera, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jun 28, 2018 06:27:12 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for 911 Emergency Communications Framework. Response to Request With regards to your request for the Framework of the 911 Emergency Hotline, we would like to inform you that as of this date, the institutionalization of the 911 hotline is yet to be accomplished. However, there have been conferences and meetings with the involved parties discussing the composition of the Technical Working Group for the formulation of the Implementing Rules and Regulations. Right now, we are unable to provide you with the details of the program. Rest assured that once the TWG and IRR composition is completed, a Memorandum will be released to the public so that everyone will be better informed of the new Emergency Response Hotline. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Hon. Eduardo M. Año, OIC-SILG, DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, Quezon ave., Quezon city. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
