My previous employer made an error on my TIN. They've put an incorrect TIN on my last 2361 they've issued when I resigned from work. Should I be the one to do the correction for the error they made or vise versa?

Response to Request
I suggest that you personally verify your TIN, we advise you to call our Customer Assistance Division (CAD) at telephone numbers: (02) 8981-7003, 8981-7020, 8981-7030, 8981-7040, 881-7046, 8981-7419, 8981-7452, 8981-7478 o 8981-7479, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays.
On the other hand, you may also visit the nearest BIR Revenue District Office (RDO). Please bring any two of your government-issued IDs as proof of your identity for validation purposes.
If upon verification you found out that the TIN indicated in your 2316 is incorrect, you may then request your employer to correct/revise your 2316.
