Thank you for your request dated Sep 08, 2020 09:27:17 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your request
You requested for a copy of your 2316 Form for the period 2011 to 2012.
Response to your request
After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request as to the following: Copy of your BIR Form 2316 Form for the period 2011 to 2012
This Office does not have the information you have requested (BIR Form 2316) since it was only starting 2015 when the employers were required to furnish the BIR with scanned copies of BIR Form No. 2316. Your employer was not required to submit copies of 2316 certificates during the period requested.
However, your compensation and withholding tax data was found in the Alphalist of Employees of HEWLETT-PACKARD AP (HONGKONG) LTD-PHIL-ROHQ filed for the taxable years 2011 and 2012. A certification was thus made on the data gathered for your purpose.
Please see attached scanned copy of the certification.
For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir. gov.ph.
