Dear Marlon Bertuldo,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Sep 10, 2022, 04:57:44 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
This has reference to your request for the fish port complex's space requirements, port facilities, and design guidelines. In view thereof, the port facilities of our regional fish port complex are available through the Agency's website at https://pfda.gov.ph/index.php/about-us#regional-fish-ports, for your reference and guidance.
In connection to the determination of the space requirement, it is through the volume of unloading of fish in a particular area. Furthermore, with regards to the design guidelines, our Agency follows the structural standard of the Department of Public Works and Highways in our post-harvest facilities. We cannot also provide the design guideline, it is still subject to the approval of the Board and falls under Section 4 of Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 rule number 6 "Prejudicial premature disclosure".
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to His Excellence and the concurrent Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Ferdinand E. Marcos, Jr. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Kenneth A. Quindao
