Dear EFOI Requestor,

Prior to our endorsement of your request to the appropriate office ,  there are certain procedures being implemented in PGH that you or your team need to undertake since the purpose of your request is intended for research. Since PGH is under UP Manila, research and data gathering procedures that are currently implemented in UP Manila are also being observed in PGH.  

We would like to first recommend seeking endorsement from the UP Manila Research Ethics Board.  It can be accessed online through the UPMREB website (reb.upm.edu.ph).  Subsequently, your team needs to register to the Research Grants Administration Office (RGAO) via online. Once appropriate clearances have been obtained, the PGH Expanded Hospital Research Office (EHRO) will issue a permit for the request to proceed.  

For clarification and other inquiries pertaining to the conduct of research in PGH, the EHRO can be reached at telephone number 8554-8400 local 2064.  Its office is located on the second floor of UP PGH.
