TCCPs major task is to formulate and implement a technical cooperation program in line with the Philippine Governments commitment to the United Nations Resolutions on technical and economic cooperation among developing countries (TCDC ECDC). The Council, whose secretariat is established in the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), assists in strengthening the competitive edge of the Philippines in socio economic development by offering non degree training courses in areas where the Philippines has the experience and the expertise and which are relevant to the development efforts of the beneficiary countries including the Philippines.
