Hi! I am requesting the number of filed technology transfer agreements filed by universities and approved from 2008 to present.
Dear Mr. Rivera:
This refers to your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information (FOI) in the Executive Branch which we received on 20 January 2025, through the eFOI portal (www.foi.gov.ph) with Ticket Reference No. #TAPI-266462078296.
In your FOI request, you are requesting for the number of filed technology transfer agreement (TLAs) filed by universities from 2008 to present.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, we regret to inform you that your request is hereby DENIED for the reason that the requested information is not within the custody of DOST-TAPI since we are not involved in facilitating TLAs of universities.
Nevertheless, we will refer your request to Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD-[email protected]), since this agency is likely to have information regarding the number of TLAs of DOST-funded technologies. You may also consider reaching to other councils below:
1. Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCARRD) – [email protected]
2. Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) – [email protected]
Also, you may request information from the respective universities.
