Dear eFOI user,
Mabuhay!
Thank you for utilizing the eFOI portal (www.foi.gov.ph) and exercising your right to information under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
We have received your request on Data on robotics in the PH, dated Oct. 4, 2024. Here are our answer to your queries:
- Statistics for every Science HS in the PH that has a robotics curriculum. (Answer: PSHS do not keep such records. Please refer to our data/ information inventory for reference. Also, Science High Schools in the Country are not under the PSHS System. Lastly, for the PSHS System there is no "robotics curriculum" per se, we have robotics clubs, activities, etc -- but not a formal program of study on Robotics.)
- List of subjects or courses for robotics in Philippine Science HS System. (Answer: Similar answer as above.)
- Number of scientists under the Balik Scientists Act (RA11035). (Answer: The DOST may have the statistics for this, not the PSHS System. Kindly send your query to the DOST's eFOI portal.)
- Possible lots or areas for the proposed project. (Answer: May we be clarified -- "what project" are you referring to?)
- Possible proponents and private companies that are willing to fund the project (for theoretical and educational purposes only, eg. Softbank, Creotec). (Answer: The question is too broad, and possible answers are limitless. )
- Medal tally of for national and international competitions won by young Filipino inventors. (Answer: PSHS does not keep this information. But, if you wish for the number of winnings in local and international competitions PSHS received, please refer to our Transparency Seal - Physical Accomplishment, here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r0zQ-OTuKCf3b6iJg4l78yZ-r1s-YBgF/view)
- Number of teachers that teach or handle robotics subjects in high schools. The PSHS System neither keeps this information, nor has direct access to it.
Kindly refer to our inventory of records for a list of information we keep. You can find this at our Transparency Seal - FOI Webpage here: https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/embed.aspx?src=https%3A%2F%2Fpshs.edu.ph%2Fwp-content%2Fdownloads%2FFOI%2FFOI-Reports-(Consolidated).xlsx
