I am an Architecture student in Technological University of the Philippines Manila and currently conducting research as a partial fulifillment for the subject Architectural Design 9 Thesis Writing. Pursuant to the provisions of Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 (the Freedom of Information Order), I am respectfully requesting data regarding the number of students and faculty staff residing in on-campus and off-campus residence accommodations across higher education institutions in the Philippines Specifically, I would like to request the following information: 1. The number of students residing in on-campus dormitories or other residence accommodations (e.g., dormitories, apartments, boarding houses, etc.). 2. The number of faculty staff residing in on-campus dormitories or residence accommodations. 3. A breakdown of these numbers per institutions, if available, particularly for public universities and colleges ( State Universities and Colleges, SUC). 4. Information on any backlog or shortage in dormitory accommodations across these institutions, if available. The data will be used for research purposes to understand the current state of residence accommodation in higher education institutions and to identify potential gaps in housing availability for both students and faculty members.
