Your request:
You asked for the following information regarding the Manila Bay-Pasig River-Laguna Lake Ferry Project:
1. Locations of the ferry terminals including site selection process and criteria used in determining the locations of terminals;
2. Master plan for the development of MAPALLA Ferry Project, if available;
3. MAPALLA Ferry Project Feasibility study report; and
4. Details on the budget allocation of the ferry project.
Response to your request
Your request is partially approved.
Please find attached information regarding your request. Kindly note that these are based on the summary of the Pre-Feasibility Study results that were presented in the General Forum for the public held last October 4, 2024. We cannot provide further information since the Project will still be submitted for the review and approval of the appropriate Approving Body. Upon its approval, it will be subjected to a PPP procurement/ bidding. You may refer to the PPP Code and its IRR for the detailed procedure that will be followed for this Project.

Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Office of the Executive Director.
Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 working days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the Secretary of the National Economic and Development Authority and thereafter, to the Office of the President pursuant to Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
