Purpose: Report a Scam Court Order
Tracking no: #PNP-367740343976
Hello, On March 1, I opened my Spam folder and saw a request from an alleged PNP-Anti-Cybercrime Group (sent on February 25) with emails coming from DepEd Region 12, and [email protected], entitled "Opisyal utos ng Korte" saying that we committed crimes. It was BCC to me, and has no official statement of our names, but a general order going to Ermita, Manila, or to follow their orders within 24 hours. We know it's a scam, and even the PNP Station 9 in Iloilo City said so, since I was able to go there. I'd like to ask though, if DepedR12 was compromised and whether other recipients of this scam had successfully raised/reported this to NBI, FOI, or DOJ? Hoping to hear from you and how to avoid receiving scam messages like these. Thank you.
