Purpose: Personal Monitoring of Earthquakes
Tracking no: #PHIVOLCS-874763781565
Hi! I would like to request the dedicated seedlink server of the Philippines to track the real-time earthquake activities. If not, is there a way I can have a platform or website where I can track them personally? I want the real-time monitoring. Thank you and I appreciate your response on this.
Following-up on this request
Dear eFOI user,
Mabuhay!
Thank you for utilizing the eFOI portal (www.foi.gov.ph) and exercising your right to information under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
We have received your request on Philippine Earthquake Seedlink Server, dated Sept. 16, 2024.
While our primary objective is to provide accurate and timely information whenever possible, we regret to inform you that PHIVOLCS do not provide access to our main data servers. Providing access may also have an effect to our real-time connectivity Internet bandwidth since we also ingest seismic data from regional and global seismic stations for tsunami monitoring and other purposes.
You may submit a request for a specific record of earthquakes addressed to Dr. Teresito C. Bacolcol of PHIVOLCS and send to [email protected]. We invite you also to visit PHIVOLCS website at this link https://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/index.php/earthquake/earthquake-information3 where near-real time earthquake information recorded by our network is posted immediately and/or map visualization at https://hazardhunter.georisk.gov.ph/monitoring/earthquake
Your right to request a review
