Philippine Rice Resarch Institute Dear PhilRice Greetings I am Gibe S. Tirol, a Doctor in Information Tehcnology candidate at Cebu Institute of Technology - University. I am currently conducting research for the diesseration titled "Optimizing Rice Yields: Leveraging Gradient Boosting Model for Precision Fertilizers Strategies". My study aims to develop a machine learning-based approach to enhance fertlizer application efficiency and improve rice production outcomes in the Philippines. To support this research, I kinly request access to CSV datasets contaiting soil data, wheater and climate data, and other relevant agricultural parameters that influence rice growth. The data provided will be used strictly for academic and research purposes, adhering to ethical research standards. The insights derived from this study could contribute to data-driven agrcultural policies and precision farming strategies, ultimtely benefitting local farmers and stakeholders in the agricultural sectiors. I would appreciate any guidance on the process of obtaining these datasets and any necessary agreements or protocols required. Thank you for your time and consideraiton. As per clarification with you of our concerned staff, your request is the top 5 high-yielding varieties for both inbred and hybrid.

I am pleased to inform you that your FOI request has been approved. Enclosed herewith, you will find the information you have requested.

For the best/high yielding varieties currently popular to our local farmers, and are currently distributed through our RCEF seed program:
