We would like to request access to the following legislative deliberations: 1. Deliberations on the 1950 New Civil Code of the Philippines: We are particularly interested in any debates or discussions that provide insight into the rationale behid gender roles embedded in the law. Specifically, we are looking for discussions regarding parental authority, marriage, and property relations, with a focus on the roles of men versus women. 2. Deliberations on the Family Code of the Philippines 1987: We are seeking discussions on gender roles in marriage, property relations, and parental authority, particularly focusing on any debates surrounding reforms aimed at adopting more progressive gender nirms or maintaining traditional, patriarchal provisions. 3. Deliberations on the the 1987 Philippine Constitution: We are particularly interested in the deliberation of Article 15. As it will provide us insight regarding the legislative intent, rationale, and its views on the functions of the family and its members. Our research is focused on Articles 14, 96, 124, 211, and 225 of the Family Code, so we would be particularly gratedul for any materials related to these provisions. If possible, could you guide us on how to access these deliberations or provide any relevant congressional records or session transcripts? We would also appreciate information on any procedures or requirements necessary to obtaion these materials. Thank you very much for your assistance.
