This refers to your eFOI request received on 05 September 2024 via the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you are inquiring about the status of Westchester Realty Corporation (WRC), specifically whether it has been awarded as one of the Fund’s top Developer, details concerning its license to sell, and the nature of its agreement with the Fund in relation to the housing scheme available to borrowers, as you seek assurance that the Developer is not comparable to Globe Asiatique.
We deemed it proper to raise the matter to the Operating Unit Concerned (OUC) – the Loans Operations Sector, through Mr. Chris Arbert A. Sio, the Acting Assistant Department Manager I of the Housing Operations Support Unit.
According to the OUC, WRC is an accredited developer and has consistently been recognized as one of the Top Developers of Pag-IBIG Fund. Furthermore, as to the License-to-Sell of WRC WRC. have accredited projects with Pag-IBIG Fund which are bought from our Acquired Assets under the Bulk Sale facility. Thus, we do not require them to submit LTS anymore since these properties were already taken out under the previous developer and they are just reselling it after refurbishments on the housing unit.
