I am an HR handling the SSS Sickness of our employee.
May concern lang po kami since may employee kami na nagfile ng sickness before sa SSS na tuberculosis which is naapproved naman po. Ngayon po nagcoconcern ulit siya since gusto niyo ito ifile as Work related.

Ask lang po namin anong process po dito since nafile na ito before as Sickness lang po sa SSS and diba ang tuberculosis po is personal disease po? Pasok po ba ito talaga as EC.Ngayon kung gusto talaga ifile ng employee ito sa EC. Ano po yung dapat na iprovide niya na proof na nakuha niya yung sakit na TB sa work. Pwede ba ulit ito irefile sa SSS ?

With regard to your query, if the employee think that the sickness is work-related, then he/she may file for EC Claim.
Another filing for EC claim at SSS is necessary. The HR may file on behalf of the employee using the SSS online portal account.
Requirements include:
-Medical certificate (to prove that the sickness is work-related; better if it is reflected in the doctor's finding that sickness is work-related)
-EC logbook (from hr/safety officer/employer)
-CoE/complete job description
