You have requested for information regarding the Philippine National Standard for Particleboard (PNS).
I am pleased to inform you that your FOI request has been approved and you were directly responded to via email last March 11, 2025 at 8:38AM. Enclosed herewith, you will find a copy of the information you have requested.
Please be informed that PNS 230:1989 Specification for Particle Boards has been withdrawn and replaced with PNS ISO 16893:2017 Wood-based panels – Particleboard. Copies of PNS are available for a minimal fee at the Department of Trade and Industry—Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS). Below is the price of the standard: PRICE QUOTATION Quantity Specification Particulars Amount (Php) One (1) Copy Hard Copy PNS ISO 16893:2017 Wood-based panels - Particleboard ₱ 260.00 The Department of Trade and Industry - Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS) Terms and Conditions regarding payment and delivery are the following: 1. The customer agrees to be bound by DTI-BPS terms and conditions. 2. Pre-payment is required for any order from PNS. 3. The customer shall secure a payment slip from the BPS-Standards Data Centre (SDC) at the 3/F Trade and Industry Building, 361 Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. 4. Upon securing the payment slip, the client is to present the payment slip to the DTI cashier with the corresponding fee. 5. For non-cash transactions, the DTI cashier only accepts a manager’s or a cashier’s check payable to the Department of Trade and Industry. 6. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. All orders will be billed at the current prices. 7. Prices apply to all orders, regardless of the customer’s address. 8. The price of PNS does not include shipping, postage, or handling fees. 9. Delivery of goods is at the customer's expense and responsibility. It means the customer is responsible for arranging the handling, shipping, postage, and other special services to their respective addresses. Your right to request a review
