I would like file a complaint against Paymaya/Maya Bank for false advertisement for a certain product/service in able to collect fees/membership fees. They make an advertisement about a "Lander Credit Card" on their maya mobile app...i click on that because i want to avail such product ...they link me to a page saying that in order to avail the said "Credit Card" you should be a member of lander first... Then they will link you to lander's page,ask you to download the app and register as a member.... So i follow all the steps, but before you become a member you should pay for 500 pesos as membership fee... So i did... Because i really want to avail the credit card they advertise....i paid 500 pesos membership fee hoping that after payment i can avail my credit card as advertise ... But that is not the case...now the company through its customer representative/support that even though i paid and become a member they will still notify me if i am ELIGIBLE to avail the said credit card... Yes... After they collected fees now they will say that it is only membership fee and not yet guaranty for your eligibility to the product.... WHICH I THINK IS A CASE OF "FALSE ADVERTISEMENT" or DECEPTION to the customer.... Because i only pay for such membership fee because in their marketing strategy they will make you believe that after payment of membership fee you can avail the said product... And now they don't want to refund my 500 pesos and they don't make me eligible for the said product... I hope you can look into this matter because marami pa ito cla mabibiktima ...thank you and good day po...
