The DSWD does not have specific guidelines on the planning and design of the aforementioned facilities. However, the Department is guided by the following guidelines in the accreditation, design, and planning of its managed facilities:

Presidential Decree No. 1096 or the National Building Code of the Philippines
Republic Act 9415 or the Fire Code of the Philippines
Batas Pambansa Bilang 344 or the Accessibility Law

Your right to request a review
If you are dissatisfied with our response to your FOI request, you have the option to request an internal review.
