I would like to request the 2023 Form A - Regional Distribution of Travelers report that covers the number of domestic tourists per month and municipality for the following provinces: Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan. The data requested will be used to calculate the necessary sample sizes for recreation demand surveys for a research project focusing on coastal and marine ecosystems in the West Philippine Sea. Magandang araw po! The specific information that I am requesting is the monthly influx of domestic tourists in all municipalities/cities of the listed provinces (Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, and Palawan) for the year 2023. The number of domestic tourists each month per municipality is important as it will be used to compute the needed sample sizes for recreation demand surveys to be conducted to domestic tourists. The survey data will be used in the analyses of the DOST-PCAARRD funded project entitled "Natural Capital Accounting of Coastal and Marine Ecosystems in the West Philippine Sea," a component under the "Resource, Inventory, Valuation and Policy in Ecosystems Services under Threat (Re-INVEST): The Case of the West Philippine Sea" program. The research project focuses on developing physical and monetary accounts using exchange and welfare values for coastal and marine resources and ecosystem services.
