Your FOI request has been approved.

You may find the DOT Memorandum Circular No. 2023-0003 or the Updated Guidelines on the Progressive Accreditation System (UPAS) which includes the Physical Requirements for MICE Facilities through this link: https://beta.tourism.gov.ph/accreditations/#benefits

Please note that we can only provide some of the information you have requested as the DOT does not have specific guidelines on the design of MICE facilities except for the standard physical requirements.

Also, please be informed that the DOT has no data on MICE facility capacity or usage.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: [email protected].
