Hi I would like to request dataset of the number of the domestic and international tourist arrivals in boracay from the year 2020 - 2024. Additionally, if possible, I would greatly appreciate access to monthly data specifically for the years 2020 - 2024. We intend to utilize the requested dataset to create a predictive AI model for dynamic environment pollution impact on coastal tourism in boracay and sentiment analysis based of the datasets patterns. The study will involve a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between tourist, resources, and contamination. This study aims to localize and build upon an existing study of sustainable tourism using sentiment analysis by Gupta C. Thanks

Greetings eFOI! I am writing in response to the reply regarding my request for Boracay Tourism Data for Research and Development under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. The Title of the Thesis Study: "Tourism Growth and Environmental Sustainability: Evaluating Sustainability Claims in Boracay's Tourism Industry using AI-Driven Insights" Brief Background of the Research: The research aims to assess tourism sustainability efforts in Boracay by analyzing 1. Tourism Trends & Environmental Impact by examining domestic and international arrivals from 2020-2024 to understand both tourism recovery trends, carrying capacity, and sustainability efforts. 2. Sentiment Analysis and AI (NLP) Applications will be used alongside data from social media sources (e.g. Facebook) to analyze tourist perceptions, environmental concerns, and satisfaction levels regarding Boracay's sustainability efforts. 3. Comparative Analysis will be included with data from other similar tourist spots, notably San Juan, La Union to provide interchangeable feedback and insight on the sustainability efforts accross different tourism landscapes. 4. Data Driven Insights will be provided for developing advanced and efficient policy recommendations to drive sustainable tourism practice not only between Boracay and San Juan but other tourist destinations while creating solid future tourism management strategies.
