I am an architecture student currently pursuing a degree in Architecture. I am writing to formally request information on the annual events and capacities within the Region IV-A CALABARZON as part of my thesis project focusing on the development of a new convention center or MICE destination. 

I kindly request for the following information: 
1. A list of annual local and international events in CALABARZON specifying the type of events (e.g., conventions, expos, fairs, festivals, corporate meetings or gatherings) 
2. Venue capacities of these events, including the number of participants or attendees in previous years. 

This data will be instrumental in understanding the demand for MICE facilities in the area. 

The information provided will be sole used for academic purposes and will be duly acknowledged in my thesis.

I am Shamma Ira S. Valte, a 5th year architecture student at National University-Manila, currently conducting my thesis titled " A Proposed Convention Center in Tagaytay: Meeting the Demand for Sustainable MICE Destinations Through Energy Efficiency and Thermal Comfort", This study aims to develop a sustainable and energy-efficient convention center in Tagaytay, addressing the growing demand for MICE destinations in the region. 

To aid in the space programming and determine user capacity for the proposed design, I would like to request the following information: 
1. A list of annual local and international events held in Region IV-A CALABARZON, specifying the type of event (e.g., conventions, expos, fairs, corporate meetings, or gatherings) for year 2021-2023. 
2. Data on the capacities of venues where these events were held, including the number of participants or attendees for each event during the same period (2021-2023). 

The requested data is essential for accurately analyzing the demand for MICE facilities in the region and ensuring the functionality of my proposed design. I assure you that this information will be used solely for academic purposes and will be appropriately cited in my thesis.

While we aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we will have to deny your request. We can only provide the list of DOT-accredited MICE facilities in the CALABARZON which you can find through this link: https://beta.tourism.gov.ph/accreditations/#dot-accredited
Upon coordination with DOT CALABARZON, they do not have the specific data on actual MICE conducted in CALABARZON, as well as the other information.
