Hi! I would just like to ask if I can file a complaint or there's something I can do with my previous company (BPO).
1. I stayed with the company for 8 years and since pandemic, I was working at home. There was a reduction of staff happened that started January and the management is transferring their employees to the other accounts available. Since I am in a work at home set up, I ask if there is an available account that offers work at home but I was told by the SOM that there's is NONE (at first when we talked) and that if I will not return onsite, he will not retain me in the account and the only option is to resign. I then ask if I can be tagged as floating while waiting for an account that offers work at home but he said there's no such option.
The second time we talked, I ask again if there is already an open account for my post that offers work at home and he said "Yes" but he is not going to endorse me on that account.
They told us that there will be 3 batches of staff transfer that will happen on the last week of January, Second week of February and the first week of March. I sincerely asked if I can be part of the 2nd batch as I will be needing money for my post cancer check up but the SOM said that I can only stay until January 31st.
Given no other option, I submitted my resignation that I will be staying until January 31, 2025. January 30, a team from other account that offers work at home chatted me and ask if I am interested in transferring to their account and I said "Yes" so I was scheduled for interview that supposed to be on February 4, 2025. Since I was contacted by the other account, I assumed that he endorsed my name on that account (Which at first he said that he will not endorse me). While waiting for my interview date, I was shocked that the SOM processed the deactivation of my badge!!! It truly hurt me that I am still crying when someone is asking why I resigned.
2. When my badge was deactivated, no one explained the exit process. I received an email stating that I need to return the IT assets within 5 days after the effective date of resignation. I reached out to my former colleague which is a TL if I can return the assets on February 19 since I will be travelling to Manila for my check up. They emailed the HR and IT but said that I need to fill out the form for transport which I did but the transport team contacted me on the date of my travel and so I said that there is not enough time and I will just bring it with me to return it personally. When I returned the IT assets, they told me that they will email the concerned department for my final pay dispute since the IT assets were deducted from my final pay. Until now, I have not received any response from them.
Is there any grounds that I can file for them?

Thank you for your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You inquired about the procedure for separation pay.
In response, we refer you to DOLE Labor Advisory No. 6, Series of 2020, which provides guidelines on the payment of final pay and the issuance of a Certificate of Employment (please see the attached file). This advisory mandates the release of separation pay within 30 days.
Additionally, any disputes or claims regarding separation pay should be filed with the appropriate DOLE Regional or Field Office with jurisdiction over your workplace.
