Hi. In regards to adoption leave as posted, I would like to seek some clarification 1. In the private sector, is it the discretion of the employer to grant such leave to its employees who undergone adoption of a child below 7yo? 2. Do they have the right to deny and refuse their employees of adoption leave availment since it is not SSS mandated and is not part of the Company benefits? 3. Since SSS have no guidelines regarding adoption leave, will the law shall take effect regardless if SSS have no provision for adoption leave? Thank you.
