Dear DOH, Good day. I am a journalism student from the University of the Philippines Diliman. My group and I are currently working on a story project about ADHD in the Philippines. I am reaching out to your good office to request for available data on the number of imported ADHD medicaionts (i.e., Ritalin and Concerta) in the Philippines and its cost annually from 2018 to 2023. We have received your request on the Number of imported ADHD medications in PH, dated Nov. 3, 2024.
Currently, the FDA has yet to gather data on the imported ADHD medications. Meanwhile,
the Agency is currently developing its policy on the notification of importation and exportation of pharmaceutical products and raw materials to collect data on such products. Additionally, you may inquire from the Bureau of Customs (BOC) if they have the available requested
information.
