You have requested the DOH GUIDELINES FOR SPECIALIZED HOSPITALS
Below are the responses of the DOH Health Facility Development Bureau (HFDB) in response to your request:
1. DOH Planning and Design Guidelines for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Urology Center, DOH Guidelines for Specialized Hospitals and DOH Guidelines for Level 3 hospitals - The Department of Health has developmental standards for general hospitals and select specialty care facilities only. You may refer to the Manual on Technical Guidelines for Hospital Planning and Design at https://bit.ly/DOHHFDBManuals for the developmental standards of general hospitals. Administrative Order No. 2012-0012 on Rules and Regulations Governing the New Classification of Hospitals and other Health Facilities in the Philippines articulates the different classifications and service capabilities of health care facilities, which can be accessed at the official website of the Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau (HFSRB) at https://hfsrb.doh.gov.ph/hospital/ In addition, the licensing requirements for hospitals and select healthcare facilities are stipulated in Administrative Order No. 2016-0042 – Guidelines in the Application for Department of Health Permit to Construct and its Annexes, which can also be accessed at the HFSRB website at https://hfsrb.doh.gov.ph/hospital/
