Regarding your request made under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch; specifically your request on Request for Data on Regional Planning and Housing Backlogs.

Per our record, we only have data broken down by province based on recent research conducted by the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) on Updating the Housing Needs in the Philippines. Housing backlogs have been established through research studies, as the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) only conducts Census on Population and Housing (CPH) every five (5) years. Currently, we only have the housing backlog data, based from the 2013-2017 study.

Please note that the study as of 31 December 2022 has yet to be approved for release to the public.

Kindly confirm if the housing backlog data based from the 2013-2017 study. would be sufficient for your request.
